The V7 shorts, carried all the way down the leg.
D3O® pads + A.I. air-channel padding cushion the tailbone and seat, Plush pads cover the hips and thighs, and knee pads with comfort-foam surrounds take the padding below the hip — with the same adjustable fit system as the shorts.

- Cushion knee pads — Pre-curved knee pads with comfort-foam surrounds carry the padding down the leg for the falls that land below the hip. Removable for washing.
- A.I. Plush Padding™ (Air Pad Integrated) — Zone-mapped air-channel padding that varies softness and airflow as you move.
- T.P.S. V2 (Total Padding System) — A modular insert with 2 inches of multi-directional adjustability for the tailbone pad.
- C.B.I.S. (Cross-Belt Integration System) — Dual overlapping tension straps hold the waist and keep the pad array in place.
- X-Connect compatible — Links to a Demon X top to close the lower-to-upper-body gap. Works with V4–V7 systems.

Intended use
For snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking only. Not for motorsports. Designed to cushion minor impacts and reduce bruising, scuffs and abrasions from falls typical of these sports. No protective equipment can prevent serious injury. Fit it snug, check it for damage before each use, and replace it if it is cracked, torn or worn.

How is the X V7 different from the V6 and previous Demon impact shorts?
The X V7 introduces three key upgrades over the V6: the new A.I. Plush Padding™ system (zone-mapped, air-integrated comfort architecture), the T.P.S. V2 (2-inch multi-directional adjustable pad insert for custom fit), and the C.B.I.S. Cross-Belt Integration System (dual straps that prevent pad migration and sagging). The X V7 retains full X-Connect compatibility and cross-generation support for V4–V7 systems.
What is the C.B.I.S. (Cross-Belt Integration System)?
C.B.I.S. is Demon's dual overlapping tension strap system that holds the waist and keeps the whole pad array in position while you ride. A single elastic waistband can sag or rotate during aggressive movement; C.B.I.S. shares the tension across two overlapping straps, so the padding stays where you set it without squeezing the waist — from first run to last.
What is the T.P.S. (Total Padding System V2) and how do I use it?
The T.P.S. V2 is a removable black foam insert built into the shorts that slides 2 inches in any direction, so you can set the tailbone pad exactly where you want it. To adjust: open the outer shorts layer to reach the insert, slide it to your preferred position and secure it. Many riders set it slightly higher or lower depending on how they sit and ride. The separate black foam comfort layer is optional — many riders remove it for a lower-profile fit.
What is X-Connect Technology?
X-Connect is Demon's connection system that physically links compatible Demon padded tops and bottoms at the midsection. Without it, there's usually a gap between where a padded top ends and the shorts begin. X-Connect closes that gap and adds a low lumbar pad for extra lower-back coverage. It works with Demon V4, V5, V6 and V7 tops and bottoms.
