Which tune kit do you need?
A tune kit does four jobs: clean the base, repair the base, set the edges, and wax it. The difference between our kits is how many of those four you can do, and how fast.
If you ride under ten days a year, you need an iron, wax, a scraper and a brush. Past that you want edge tools, because edges round off mid-season and shop tunes add up. At 40+ days, or if you tune your friends' boards, get a kit with a vise.

Kits without an iron
Focused kits, not complete tunes. Pick one if you already own an iron, or only need one job done.

- Demon snowboard base repair kit, $39.99. Ten P-Tex sticks, three buff pads, metal scraper, gummy stone, wax.
- Demon ski and snowboard wax brush kit, $49.99. Brass, nylon and horsehair brushes, edge file, metal scraper. No wax, no iron.
- Demon Mechanic ski and snowboard tuning kit, $59.99. Full tool set with edge tuner, wax and base cleaner. Just add an iron.
- Demon roto brush kit, $109.99. Three drill-mounted roto brushes and a control handle. Keep the drill under 800 rpm and wear eye protection.
How often should you tune?
- Wax every 3–5 riding days, or whenever the base looks chalky and white near the edges.
- Edges every 5–10 days on hardpack. Far less if you mostly ride soft snow.
- Base repair as soon as you see a gouge. They spread, they never heal.
- Storage wax once at season's end. Lay it on thick, leave it unscraped, scrape it off in autumn.
