The multi-density cushion foam and integrated knee pads are particularly valuable for youth riders who spend more time on their knees and seat than experienced riders do. The low-profile stretch fit works under kids' ski and snowboard pants just as well as adults'. Size using the Demon youth sizing chart for the best fit — pads should sit precisely over the tailbone, hips, and knees rather than floating or bunching.

The Zero RF uses a two-part retention system specifically designed to prevent the mid-run sliding that makes most riders give up on knee pads. Internal silicone grip bands run against the leg and create passive friction hold — they lock the pad against the skin without compression, so the pad stays put through crouches, jumps, and hard landings without you doing anything. The soft-touch Velcro closure at the top adds a secondary mechanical lock, adjustable to your leg circumference, without the scratchy bite of standard hook-and-loop closures. If you've ditched other knee pads because they ended up around your ankle by noon, the grip band system is the fix.

These padded shorts fit snuggly and have padding located in all places that I was concerned about protecting when having a backend fall. They're not bulky and are hidden well by slightly oversized shorts. As a long-time inline skater, these shorts are the final piece of protective gear I've added to my regularly worn collection of"armor" over the past 30+ years. They've completely alleviated my concern about rearward, downward falls and I do recommend them to all you urban skaters.

The DU crash pads I bought 5 seasons ago finally gave up the ghost, and these pads are definitely a lot nicer. Fit better and feel more comfortable! (I'm 45 years old with arthritis in my hips so I'll always be rocking crash pads, to answer the "Why are you still wearing pads going into your sixth season?!" questions)

These are great, size fit perfect, rode hard ( mtb) all day, super comfortable stayed in place, never had to readjust them! Love the extra tailbone protection! Get yourself a pair of these!!!

True fit and as comfortable as it can be for having pads stuffed in your shorts. 30+ years riding and I cant fall like I used to. Im appreciative for abit extra padding where it counts.

It's like I never even fell, worked like a charm!

Had the Atomics but there are better. Better hip coverage. Atomics slide around too much. Took a fall side slipping and they barely covered. These will do the trick if you are not always facing forward when you go down.

Tried the D30's but my butt is too small so they did not fit so that my greater trancator (top of thigh bone) is covered.
