Snowboard Maintenance Kit

The complete snowboard maintenance kit — wax iron, edge tuner, scrapers, brushes, P-tex and three universal waxes, packed in one carry bag. Everything you need to wax, sharpen and repair your own board (and skis) at home.

About $155 of tools. $119.99 as a kit.
Every item in this snowboard maintenance kit is sold on its own at Demon too — bought separately they come to roughly $155, so the kit saves you about $35. One shop tune costs $40–60; this kit pays for itself in two or three sessions.

Fresh wax means a faster, easier-turning board. Sharp edges mean you hold on ice instead of skidding. Most riders pay a shop for both, three or four times a season. This kit puts a full tuning bench in a bag so you can do it in twenty minutes on the kitchen table — no experience needed, instructions and how-to videos included.

What this kit does

  • Hot waxing — Dual-voltage slide iron with an easy temperature dial melts the wax in; the notched scraper and nylon brush finish the base for a fast, dry glide.
  • Edge sharpening — Multi-angle edge tuner with shavings brush plus a flat file, file brush and tuning stone for side and base edges. Fixes dull edges and removes burrs after a rock hit.
  • Base repair — Clear and black P-tex sticks and a metal scraper to fill and level core shots and gouges before you wax.
  • Works for skis too — Two ski brake retainers are included so the same kit tunes skis as well as snowboards.

Features

  • Dual-voltage slide iron — Runs on 110–220v; switch on the back and use your country adaptor (ships set up for USA 110v). Easy temperature dial adjusts from low to high.
  • Complete tool set — Edge tuner, files, brushes, scrapers, P-tex and more for full edge and base work.
  • Premium universal wax pack — 399g across three blends, good for 35–40 waxings — roughly two seasons of regular tuning.
  • Wipe-clean carry bag — Heavy-duty strap and organized pockets keep every tool in its place between tunes.

Tools included

  • Edge tuner for multiple side and base edge angles (includes shavings brush)
  • Flat file, brass file brush, metal scraper, nylon handheld base brush
  • 1 clear P-tex, 1 black P-tex, two ski brake retainers, tuning stone, wax scraper with edge notch, polish pad, and tune instruction guide

Wax

  • 399g total (good for 35–40 waxings): 133g White Lightning universal, 133g Black Gold Graphite universal, 133g Modified Hydro universal
  • All-temperature blends — no need to match wax to the forecast
  • Blended, scented, and made in Southern California

Bag

  • Internal strap to secure the wax iron, three internal open-access tool pockets, a zippered mesh pocket, an elastic pocket, and a zippered mesh pouch
  • Heavy-duty carry strap and easy wipe-off material

How often should you maintain a snowboard?

Wax every 3–5 riding days or whenever the base looks dry and chalky. Sharpen edges every 5–8 days, or right away after a rock strike. Fill base gouges as soon as you see them so water can't get into the core. A quick end-of-season storage wax keeps the base from drying out over summer.
