Demon's most advanced knee pad — triple-layer D3O® T6, an Armortex® Kevlar front panel, and Air Pad Integrated coverage for snow, dirt, and concrete.
Built for riders who hit hard surfaces: D3O® T6 impact padding, an Armortex® Hi-Tech Fabric front panel, and the new A.I. (Air Pad Integrated) system, in a pad that breathes like activewear and stays locked in place.

- D3O® T6 impact padding — A rate-sensitive, soft, and flexible material: it stays supple while you ride and firms up under compression, then resets. A built-in hard shell adds puncture and abrasion resistance, and it's temperature-stable, performing well in extreme heat and cold.
- Low-profile fit — The D3O® T6 padding is non-toxic, pre-curved for an enhanced fit with tapered edges for a lower-profile feel under gear.
- Armortex® Hi-Tech Fabric front panel — An Armortex® panel woven with DuPont™ Kevlar® and UHMWPE at the outer layer that's cut-resistant, tear-resistant, and abrasion-resistant, holding up to concrete, asphalt, rails, and ice that would shred standard fabric.
- High-tensile, anti-slip grip — The Armortex® weave is high-tensile, anti-slip, and gripping, while a Spandex® blend keeps it stretchy, soft, and comfortable against the knee.
- A.I. (Air Pad Integrated) system — Air-pad channels through the pad body add cushioning, paired with perforated neoprene, a soft mesh inner panel, and a terry-lined moisture-wicking interior that breathes on all-day sessions.
- Lock-in Velcro fit — A comfort strap system holds the pad against the knee without digging in or cutting circulation, and the form-fitting build moves with knee flexion.

Intended use
For snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking only. Not for motorsports. Designed to cushion minor impacts and reduce bruising, scuffs and abrasions from falls typical of these sports. No protective equipment can prevent serious injury. Fit it snug, check it for damage before each use, and replace it if it is cracked, torn or worn.

Will the Hyper X V7 knee pads fit under snowboard or ski pants?
Yes. The Hyper X V7 is designed with a low-profile construction specifically to be worn under snow pants, ski pants, or MTB shorts. The perforated neoprene body and slim form factor keep bulk to a minimum. We recommend sizing up if you're between sizes or planning to layer over a thermal base layer.
What does A.I. (Air Pad Integrated) mean?
Demon's new Air Pad Integrated (A.I.) system uses an Air Pad System throughout the pad body to create impact absorbtion channels. Paired with ventilated perforated neoprene and a soft mesh inner panel, the result is a knee pad that breathes like activewear, not armor. The terry-lined moisture-wicking interior adds a layer of comfort that makes the Hyper X V7 wearable for full-day park sessions, long lift days, or back-to-back riding without the clammy, overheated feel that kills other pads by noon.
What makes D3O knee pads better than standard foam knee pads?
D3O is a non-Newtonian smart material — it's soft and flexible during normal movement, then instantly hardens on impact to distribute force and reduce peak pressure on the knee. Standard foam compresses at a fixed rate regardless of impact speed. D3O responds proportionally: the harder the impact, the greater the resistance. It also recovers immediately after impact, returning to flexible state so it doesn't lock up mid-run. The Hyper X V7 adds A.I. (Air Integrated padding system) as a second absorption layer and Kevlar for abrasion resistance — a triple-layer stack that standard foam pads simply can't match.
