For snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking only. Not for motorsports. Designed to cushion minor impacts and reduce bruising, scuffs and abrasions from falls typical of these sports. No protective equipment can prevent serious injury. Fit it snug, check it for damage before each use, and replace it if it is cracked, torn or worn.

Without it, there's usually a gap between where a padded top ends and the shorts begin. X-Connect closes that gap and adds a low lumbar pad for extra lower-back coverage. It works with Demon V4, V5, V6 and V7 tops and bottoms.

The Demon Ghost Rib Protector is an optional add-on that wraps from spine to stomach in high-density Dura Foam under a firm outer layer, adding padding across the ribs and midsection — the area most padded tops don't cover. The V7 top covers the shoulders, elbows, back, ribs and abdomen on its own; the Ghost Rib is for riders who want continuous padding around the torso, especially park riders who spend time on boxes and rails.
