Hard Landing Kit — X V7 Shorts + Hyper X V7 Knee Pads

The two pieces that hit the ground first — V7 shorts and Kevlar-faced knee pads.

Most falls land on a hip or a knee. This is the lower-body half of the Apex kit on its own: the T.P.S. V2 adjustable tailbone insert in the shorts, and D3O® T6 behind an Armortex® Kevlar panel on the knees. Both layer under normal outerwear.

X V7 D3O A.I. Impact Shorts

• D3O® + Plush padding — A D3O® impact pad shields the tailbone and buttocks, with Plush pads cushioning the hips and thighs. The upgraded T6 tailbone pad adds a flex shell.
• A.I. Plush Padding™ (Air Pad Integrated) — Zone-mapped air-channel padding varies softness and airflow as you flex, compress, and absorb impact.
• T.P.S. V2 (Total Padding System) — A modular insert with 2 inches of multi-directional adjustability; slide and lock your coverage where you want it.
• C.B.I.S. (Cross-Belt Integration System) — Dual overlapping tension straps lock the waist and stop the pad array sagging or rotating.

Hyper X V7 D3O A.I. Knee Pads

• D3O® T6 impact padding — Rate-sensitive, soft and flexible: supple while you ride, firms up under compression, then resets. A built-in hard shell adds puncture and abrasion resistance.
• Armortex® Hi-Tech Fabric front panel — Woven with DuPont™ Kevlar® and UHMWPE: cut-, tear- and abrasion-resistant against concrete, asphalt, rails and ice.
• A.I. (Air Pad Integrated) system — Air-pad channels with perforated neoprene and a terry-lined, moisture-wicking interior that breathes on all-day sessions.
• Lock-in Velcro fit — A comfort strap system holds the pad against the knee without digging in or cutting circulation.

For snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking only. Not for motorsports. Designed to cushion minor impacts and reduce bruising, scuffs and abrasions from falls typical of these sports. No protective equipment can prevent serious injury. Fit it snug, check it for damage before each use, and replace it if it is cracked, torn or worn.
