The Zero Plus RF is the step up from a back protector vest — full upper body coverage across back, shoulders, chest, and elbows in one lightweight, under-jacket top. Recycled D3O® RF foam and RZ Labs foam technology certified to EN1621-1 Level 1(shoulders, elbows and back). Real protection across every zone that hits the ground first. Zero bulk. It covers the four zones that take the most damage in a real crash: back and spine with an EN1621-1 certified RZ Labs guard and recycled D3O® RF underlay, shoulders with RZ Labs foam that absorbs the lateral hits that come from catching an edge and going down sideways, chest with soft impact padding for forward falls onto hardpack, and elbows with EN1621-1 certified coverage for the instinctive reach that happens the moment you feel yourself going down. Demon's exclusive A.I. Air Integrated padding was developed to offer additional padding and cushion under the elbow and shoulder areas. Comes in a pack of 4 units these 5mm Air pads easily insert into the elbow and shoulder pockets providing comfort and shock absorption in any condition.
Will the Zero Plus RF Top fit under a ski or snowboard jacket without restricting movement?
Yes — fitting under a jacket without restriction is the core design brief. The Zero Plus RF uses an ultra-soft, lightweight build that flexes in all directions with your arms, shoulders, and back. There's no side zipper to dig in, no thick shoulder pad structure to catch on your jacket lining, and no compression system that limits your range of motion. Lighter and less structured than the X V7, it sits cleanly under any jacket without compression or bulk. The X V7 Impact Top is the full system — six CE EN1621-1 certified D3O® pads, ACF compression fit, adjustable elbow straps, X-Connect compatibility, and upgraded T6 D3O at the shoulders and back.
