Most impact tops protect two or three zones and call it a day. The V7 covers six — shoulders, elbows, back, ribs, abdomen, and lower back — with D3O® T6 pads certified to CE EN 1621-1 at every point. It's particularly valuable for park riders taking rib-catching slams on boxes, freeride skiers charging consequences terrain, and anyone who has previously broken or bruised ribs and wants maximum torso defense.
Will the V7 impact top fit under a snowboard or ski jacket?
Yes. The V7 is built with a ventilated Lycra/mesh construction and ACF compression fit specifically designed to sit close to the body under outerwear. The low-cut neckline and ergonomic side zipper reduce bulk at the collar and chest — the two areas where impact tops most commonly create visible thickness under a jacket. The pad layout is designed to not create pressure points against jacket lining during riding.
